The world of the living and realm of spirit has always been a fine line within reality. Shiro runs away from home and goes through a Shinto gate to find himself transported to the realm of Twilight.... 15 years later the spirit world (the realm of the twilight) infuses with the land of the living and gates begin to open up all over the world where spiritual confluences such as shrines and places of spirituality. The old world gods, Kami and other beings are able to manifest into the real world no one knows how to combat them and it seems as though the world will come to an end....
